Our Story…

Welcome to BMF Creative Interiors, a long-established family business in Leeds, founded and operated by brothers Paul and Ben Freeman. With a deep-rooted passion for quality and craftsmanship, our team have been serving all of Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area since 2006. But our journey began long before the inception of BMF Creative Interiors!…

…Our story began with Ben and Paul’s father, a skilled builder and heating specialist, who trained them both from a young age, leading to Ben pursuing a career as a heating engineer while Paul specialised in plumbing. Following this, Ben and Paul’s shared desire to provide high-quality products inspired them to start displaying and selling superior items, and BMF Creative Interiors grew from there.

Our First Showroom in Leads

It was one day in 2006, when Ben and Paul simply popped out to a local sandwich shop, that they noticed a shop available for rent next door. This chance opportunity led to the opening of their first showroom, and BMF Creative Interiors has been thriving ever since! As a company, we have never previously advertised our services, but instead our team have worked hard to build a solid reputation across Leeds, built purely on word-of-mouth recommendations.

The BMF Team

Despite BMF’s significant growth over the years, our team have purposely kept our operation personal and grounded. We pride ourselves on a close-knit team and always ensure our clients maintain the same point of contact throughout the scope of their works.

The BMF showroom is staffed by three dedicated professionals, while a network of around 20 skilled contractors assists with installations and projects. This small team approach ensures we maintain a personal touch and build strong relationships with every one of our customers. This means when you call, you reach someone who knows you and who genuinely cares about your project and needs.

As Co-Owner Paul explains:

“It’s not about price. It’s about finding a product you love and knowing it will last for as long as you want it. As the saying goes, ‘the bitter taste of poor quality far outlasts the sweet taste of a low price.’”

I Can’t Recommend Them Highly Enough

We used BMF Interiors to supply and install a wood burning stove. I dealt with Sam Freeman and she was absolutely fantastic. Really friendly, helpful and thorough; going beyond what she needed to do to help me decide what else to do with the hearth and fireplace before using BMF. She even spoke to the builders who knocked the fireplace through to guide them with a few things. The installers were great too. Plus we got free wood for emailing through pictures of the finished fireplace – great bonus! I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Sam.

Absolutely Delighted With Our New Kitchen

Awesome job, absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. We went to the showroom with loads of ideas about what we wanted to achieve but the product knowledge and technical know how of the team at BMF was invaluable. This wasn’t a small job, there were structural changes within and building works to the outside wall to accommodate new doors. BMF dealt with it all, working to a budget, engaging a structural engineer and project managing third-party contractors. They even tweaked the design midway through at their own cost as they found a way to fit a larger kitchen island. Nice to find a firm that values their end product over their profit margin!

Completely Exceeding Expectations

Not one for writing reviews yet I felt I had to thank the team at BMF for my fabulous new kitchen. I love it!
Quite an exceptional experience from beginning to end. In particular, special shout out and hooray to Tony, who listened, engaged, offered some super clever design ideas and helped me to convey my own which was an acheivement in itself. Currently sat in what was promised, revelling in the absolute delight of both the process and results, completely exceeding expectations and proving it can be done stress-free.

I Cannot Recommend Highly Enough

We used bmf a number of years ago in our previous house and got first class service and product. We have just moved house and have gone back to Sam and Ben at BMF, and had 2 very high-end stoves installed. As per our first stove absolutely top notch service and products.
